A beautiful birth...

Last month I was blessed with the amazing opportunity to photograph the birth of my friends' son. I have been thinking for a while now that I would like to do birth photography. My friends Lindsay and Ryan graciously agreed to let me practice on them. I was worried the timing wouldn't work out since I am still nursing Eddie. But the stars aligned and I was able to be there for most of the labor and the birth. It was so amazing. I loved this experience. I was on a high for days after.

    So beautiful! Heather, i absolutely love looking at your photography I am so below your level and you totally inspire me when I come to your sight! I got goose bumps looking at it all, you did such a wonderful job of catching everything in the moment! i just did my first newborn hospital photo shoot this week and i felt the same way: THAT's the type of session i would love to always do. everyone was so genuinely happy and it was just the best! if only i lived one state over for my next babe ;)! ps- how does mama look so gorgeous after giving birth?!?!?
